Shipping policy
In force from October 21, 2026
Free shipping on all orders within the United States. No minimum purchase.
| Ships to | United States only |
| Carrier | USPS |
| Order cut-off | 12:00 PM ET — orders after that are processed the next business day |
| Processing | 1–3 business days |
| Transit | 3–5 business days |
| Total | 4–8 business days (roughly 6–12 calendar days) |
Transit is counted from the day of shipment, not from your order. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. During peak weeks — the run-up to Black Friday and Christmas — expect the upper end of each range.
Two things about this page before the detail.
First, the numbers above are the only ones. The previous version of this page gave four different figures for two stages — processing as 1–3 business days in its summary and 1–2 in its body, transit as 6–8 in the summary and 5–8 in the body — and a total of 6–10 that matched neither pair. (1–3 plus 6–8 is 7–11.) If a shipping page cannot add up its own two stages, nothing else on it can be relied on, so the figures above are stated once, they add up, and they appear in the same form in our Terms and Conditions.
The transit figure also changed for a second reason. The old page quoted 5–8 or 6–8 business days with USPS by name, while USPS Ground Advantage is a 2–5 business day service. Quoting roughly double the carrier's own standard, and naming the carrier while doing it, is a claim anyone can check in thirty seconds. 3–5 business days sits inside what USPS actually does.
Second, and more important: on every failure below, you choose the remedy. The previous version decided three of them for you in advance, and it did not have the right to.
THE RULE: YOU PICK THE REMEDY
Three sentences from the old page:
"Lost parcels are resolved with a free re-shipment, not a refund." "Damaged or incorrect items are resolved with a free replacement, not a refund." "A refund will be issued minus a deduction to cover any shipping and handling costs incurred."
None of those holds up.
Where a seller fails to deliver, or where you rightfully reject non-conforming goods, Florida's commercial code (Fla. Stat. § 672.711) lets you cancel and recover the price you paid. Where we cannot ship within the promised time, the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 435) requires us to offer you the choice of waiting or cancelling for a full refund. A policy that converts your refund into a replacement removes a remedy the law gives you — and advertising it as the resolution is itself a deceptive practice under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.201 et seq.).
So the rule on this page is simple and it does not have exceptions: when something goes wrong in transit, you tell us whether you want the item or the money.
FAILURE 1 — IT'S LATE
The outside limit is 30 days. Where we have stated no shipping time, the FTC rule requires shipment within 30 days of your order.
If we cannot meet it, the rule tells us exactly what to do: notify you before the deadline, give you a revised date, and let you consent to the delay or cancel for a full refund. Your silence is not consent to an indefinite wait.
The refund deadline is federal too: seven business days where you paid by cash, check, or money order, or within one billing cycle where you paid by credit.
We go first. If we know we cannot meet the date, we email you and offer the refund rather than waiting to be chased. We never make a new shipping date the condition of getting your money back.
And there is no waiting period before you may ask. The old page asked you to "allow up to 2 additional business days" past the maximum before contacting us. Write whenever you like — the deadlines further down are when we would expect to hear from you, not a gate on hearing from you.
FAILURE 2 — IT'S LOST
You choose: a replacement or a refund.
We run the USPS case ourselves. You are not required to open an inquiry, complete a carrier form, or prove that something did not arrive. Risk of loss stays with us until the package is delivered to you, so a lost parcel is our problem to solve rather than yours to chase.
You get the decision without waiting for the carrier investigation to conclude. If USPS later pays us, that is between us and USPS.
FAILURE 3 — IT ARRIVES DAMAGED
You choose: a replacement or a refund. We pay the return shipping.
Email your order number with photographs of the item, the outer box, and the shipping label — taken before the box goes out for recycling. Those three photographs are the evidence for our claim against USPS.
They are material for our case, not a condition of yours. If you have already thrown the packaging away, we still handle it.
Given what we sell, one addition: if a lamp or heater arrives with damaged wiring, a damaged plug, a cracked housing, or anything loose inside, do not plug it in to test it. Photograph it and email us. We treat that as a safety matter and it goes to the front of the queue.
FAILURE 4 — THE WRONG ITEM ARRIVED
Our error, our cost, your choice. We pay the return shipping, and you choose between the correct item and a full refund. You do not have to accept a replacement to get our mistake fixed, and it does not come out of your 30-day return window.
FAILURE 5 — IT COULDN'T BE DELIVERED
This is the section the old page used to take money off your refund, so here it is in full.
A missed delivery attempt
If USPS cannot complete delivery, they may leave a notice or hold the package at a local facility. Arrange redelivery or collection using your tracking details, within the holding period stated on the notice. If nothing is collected, the package comes back to us.
A refused or uncollected package
Within your 30 days, this is simply a return, and our returns terms apply: no restocking fee and no fixed percentage deducted. See the Returns Policy.
And we do not deduct outbound shipping. The old page deducted "shipping and handling costs incurred" from the refund. We advertise free shipping, so there is no shipping cost you paid for us to deduct — subtracting one would be charging you for something we told you was free, which is precisely what FDUTPA reaches. There is also no "handling" charge, because we never disclosed one and we do not have one.
The one real cost, and it is optional: if you would rather we send the package out again than refund you, you pay the actual postage for the second attempt — that amount and nothing else.
IF THE ADDRESS WAS WRONG
The old page was right about one thing: once a package is moving, we cannot reroute it. That is a USPS limitation, not a policy of ours.
What the old page did not say is what happens to your money. So: an address error does not cost you your rights. Your 30-day return window and your rights if the product is defective are entirely unaffected.
What it costs is one thing: the postage for a second attempt — the actual cost and nothing else. No administration fee, no handling charge.
And there is no 2-hour or 24-hour deadline for telling us. While the order is still with us, we fix it, whenever you notice. Once it has shipped we cannot, however few hours have passed.
Check the name, street address, apartment or unit number, city, state, and ZIP in your order confirmation. An incorrect or incomplete address is the single most common cause of delay — more common than everything else on this page combined, and the one failure on it that is cheapest to prevent.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
The old page gave you two hours.
The window is not two hours — it lasts as long as the order has not been processed and shipped, which may be shorter or longer than two hours depending on when you ordered relative to the 12:00 PM ET cut-off. Email your order number as soon as you can; we cannot promise we will catch it.
And if we don't catch it, you have lost nothing. You then use the 30-day return window instead: 30 days from delivery, no reason required. It lasts far longer and works just as well.
MULTIPLE PACKAGES IN ONE ORDER
An order may ship in separate packages, on different days, each with its own tracking number. You get one email per package, and you never pay more because of the split.
If something is missing once the last one arrives, check whether there is another tracking number in your emails before contacting us.
THE PACKAGE IS OURS UNTIL YOU HAVE IT
Risk of loss stays with us until delivery to you. Lost, stolen, or misdelivered in transit is ours to resolve.
USPS is our subcontractor, not your counterparty. You have a contract with us; a customer who contacts the carrier is usually referred back to the shipper. So we go instead.
"Delivered" is evidence, not a verdict
Scans land before the actual delivery, at a neighbour's door, in a mailroom, or at the wrong address entirely.
We do not use a delivered scan against you, and we do not ask you to prove that something did not happen. Give it 3 business days — a surprising number turn up nearby — then email us.
WHEN TO CONTACT US
| Situation | Get in touch when |
|---|---|
| Tracking shows nothing | 48 hours have passed since the shipping email |
| Tracking has not moved | 5 business days with no change |
| Nothing has arrived | more than 10 business days since you ordered |
| Tracking says "delivered," no package | 3 business days after that scan |
| The package arrived damaged | as soon as you can, with photographs |
| Anything about electrical safety | immediately — say "safety" in the subject line |
About the first 48 hours: USPS registers a package at its first sorting facility, not when it is collected from us. For the first day, sometimes two, tracking may show nothing at all. That is normal and does not mean the package is sitting still.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Your USPS tracking number arrives in the shipping confirmation email. We see the same information you do — which is why "let me check with the warehouse" is not an answer we give. If there is more to find out, we open a case with USPS and tell you what comes back.
WHERE WE SHIP
The United States only, via USPS. We do not currently ship internationally, and we do not ship to addresses outside the US including freight forwarders.
On a domestic delivery there is no duty, customs charge, or import fee. The amount you approved at checkout is the entire amount.
So if you receive a text or email demanding a payment to release a package, it is not from us. Our emails come from an address ending @colverro.com. Forward anything suspicious to us rather than clicking what is in it.
WHERE THINGS ARE WRITTEN DOWN
Terms and Conditions — how the contract is formed, where our responsibility ends and yours begins, installation and safety, and the FTC shipping rule. Returns Policy — the 30-day window, the warranties that outlast it, and how refunds run. Privacy Policy — what we hold, why, and for how long.
